EXHIBITIONS AT L'ECOLE
Students and visitors of L'Ecole in Dubai had the opportunity to discover the richeness and intricacies of the Middle East with a collection of throughfully curated exhibitions.
THROUGH THE EYES OF A CONNOISSEUR
L’Ecole Van Cleef & Arpels is proud to present to the public a selection of jewels created with passion and patience by a connoisseur, a jewelry lover and esthete from the Middle East. The selection gathers pieces from the Art Deco period to the present days created by famous French, Italian or American jewelers, but also unsigned. The creations have a particular resonance: they symbolize a decade, a technique and the quintessence of the art of a jeweler. They also testify an original, eclectic, inventive, classical and sometimes extravagant style.
EMIRATI ADORNMENT: TANGIBLE & INTANGIBLE
Traditional Emirati witness of a large culture of adornments, whether it is tangible or intangible. Jewelry, precious items, perfumes, facial and body ornaments will be discussed, echoing one of L’Ecole exhibitions, in partnership with “Lest with Forget” (under the Salama Bin Nahyan Foundation).
PEARLS & JEWELS OF THE GULF
It's no secret that the natural pearls from the Arabian Gulf are among the finest in the world. The tradition on pearls has shaped not only entire countries, but also the customs of its inhabitants. A partnership between L'Ecole Van Cleef & Arpels and Cultural Engineering, celebrates an exhibit to invite visitors to explore history, aesthetics, methods and authentic craftsmanship of pearl diving.
